What does upcycle mean?

• reuse (discarded objects or material) in such a way as to create a product of higher quality or value than the original.
• Emerald City Treasures upcycles things such as cookie tins, leather belts, silverware, keys and more into wearable jewelry.

Is your jewelry allergy free?

• All jewelry might be new to you but it is made from repurposed or upcycled materials which means that nothing is brand new. The beauty is in the materials that I use to create it.  I never want my customers to receive an item and be unhappy because they didn't realize my pieces were made from... well... junk. Everything is prepared so that it is safe to wear but be conscience of the fact that nothing that I make is safe for allergy sensitive peeps.

Is your jewelry sustainable?

• It sure is! Not only do we use recycled, repurposed and upcycled materials to make our jewelry but we also use sustainable and recycled packaging to ship. 

What different types of items do you use to make your jewelry?

• This list could be endless but the items I specialize in are : watch parts, cookie tins, keys, leather belts, leather purses, vintage and modern junk jewelry and old hardware. 

Could I send you my Grandmothers costume jewelry and have you make some custom pieces for gifts?

• Absolutely! This is my favorite type of project that I do all of the time. I even have a listing especially for this.
