Cloud Raindrop Earrings, Version 1

This is a pair of tin cloud and raindrop earrings. They are incredibly lightweight and easy to wear. They also have a 3 dimensional look to them. The cloud part of the earring is inserted into the ear hole first. Then the piece with the raindrops is inserted on the back of the ear and then the earring back is placed on.

They are 1 1/2" across and 2" from the top of the cloud to the bottom of the raindrops. They are sterling silver studs with a sterling silver earring back and the cloud and raindrops are made from repurposed cookie tin.

All of the jewelry that I construct is made from repurposed materials which means that nothing I sell is going to be machine made perfect. All of the materials have been used and loved before. There may be dings, scratches and dents but this is the nature of the artistic impression. Everything I use had a previous life and sometimes it shows. I hope that you love the rare nature of these pieces as much as I do.
