Watch Movement Earrings, Medium Mismatched

This is a pair of distinct mismatched earrings made from one medium rectangle and one oval watch movement parts. These unique handmade earrings contain stainless steel internal workings with brass gears, cogs and tiny ruby jewels. They are the very definition of steampunk. Each movement was taken from a vintage watch and although I do the best I can to make a matching pair sometimes they are not exactly alike - which just adds to the outstanding nature of these earrings.

The movements are non-working and they measure 1 3/4" from the top of the sterling silver ear wire to the bottom of the movement and they are 3/4" wide. 

All of the jewelry that I construct is made from repurposed materials which means that nothing I sell is going to be machine made perfect. All of the materials have been used and loved before. There may be dings, scratches and dents but this is the nature of the artistic impression. Everything I use had a previous life and sometimes it shows. I hope that you love the rare nature of these pieces as much as I do.
